Hello Google!

My name is Simon Gutkovich and I'm a multifaceted designer with a passion for creating empathetic user experiences that embrace the synthesis of technology and design. I am truly excited about collaborating with diverse teams and being part of the entire creative process. From research, to prototyping, to testing, and designing (iterating as necessary): I feel like I can contribute something significant and unique. I would love the opportunity to help shape the future of whatever forward-thinking products Google is working on.

I invite you to check out my portfolio site as well as a special case study I recently completed documenting my complete redesign of the Google Careers site. (I initially started this project before the launch of the new Careers site.) Follow my design process from research to design as I meticulously redesigned the entire careers site using Google's Material Design language. I even crafted a high fidelity prototype of a sample job posting using Google's Material Design Lite library (with some tweaking and "hacking").

Thank you for your time. (Sorry for "hacking" your form entry page but I figured the code was commented out to see if anyone would try to do it.)

-Simon

P.S. The hero image in my prototype is artwork I made myself using reference photographs I found. It's an ode to the Google NYC office in the style of the Google Now "flat" landscape scenes by Brent Couchman.
